We offer three training options:

General Carer Awareness – a 45 minute training session which can be delivered face-to-face or online. This training will raise the general awareness of Carers within your organisation and help your teams to know:

  • Who Carers are and how to identify them
  • Understand the impact of a caring role
  • Understand what steps to take if you identify a Carer
  • Be aware of the support available to Carers
  • Consider how your organisation could become more Carer friendly

Carers Champion Training – a half day training session which is best delivered face-to-face but can also be online. This training is offered as part of the Carer Friendly Employer Quality Award. 

The training covers:

  • General Carer awareness
  • Why we need Carer friendly workplaces
  • The impact of caring on work
  • The role of a Carer champion
  • How to identify & support Carers at work
  • Support and signposting resources

Managers Training – a 90 minute training session which is best delivered face-to-face but can be online. This training is offered as part of the Carer Friendly Employer Quality Award.

The training covers:

  • General Carer awareness
  • The benefits for Carer friendly workplaces
  • How to support Carers in your teams
  • Legislation
  • Support and signposting resources
