Formed in 2019 as a partner of Derbyshire Carers Association, NCA are commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City CCG to provide a promotion and liaison service across the county of Nottinghamshire.

Within this service we work with health and social care professionals, schools, GP’s and local businesses to raise awareness of unpaid carers of all ages, and to promote the Carers Hub service Tu Vida across the county. We provide training, guidance and publicity materials to professionals and are available to take part in networks and local events.

We conduct consultation and engagement activities with carers and professionals to collect their views and insights into services for carers across the UK, which contributes to informing Nottinghamshire County Council’s plans and strategies.

We are working with district councils, community organisations, libraries and leisure centres to promote carers and encourage them to seek available support within the county.
