Young Carers Consultation – Tell Us What You Want

You are a Young Carer if you are under the age of 18 and care for someone else without pay.

You are not a Young Carer if caring is your job or part of a volunteering programme such as Duke of Edinburgh

Why Are We Consulting You?

From April 1st 2015 the law changes. We need to improve services to Young Carers. Only you know what would help most. If you care for another person, most probably a family member, please fill in the questionnaire at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/youngcarers and tell us your views. We also want to hear the views of parents of Young Carers at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/parentyoungcarer.

If you and your family don’t tell us what would help, we won’t know what to provide!
