Trent Dementia receive our Carer Friendly Organisation Quality Mark

·       Beth, one of our community engagement workers had the very great pleasure of presenting Trent Dementia with our Carer Friendly Organisation Quality Mark. In the Photograph from left to right are Dr Mike Craven (trustee), Beth (NCA), Tom Dening (chair of trustees),  and Ghazal Mazloumi (project developer).

Trent Dementia is a charity which aims to improve the quality of care, support and wellbeing of people who are living with dementia. To achieve this award they received Carer Awareness Training, as well as actively identifying, supporting and signposting carers to the support available.  They run online craft groups, walking groups and drop in sessions to provide information guidance and support, as well as producing the What’s On In Notts leaflet, and The Dementia Journey: Where to Start booklet. To see all that they are doing to support those living with dementia and their carers you can take a look at their website here www.trentdementia.org.uk.
