Excellence in Partnership Working award

Huge congratulations as Carers Space Notts was awarded the Excellence in Partnership Working award at Nottinghamshire County Council’s Adult Social Care celebration event on Friday.

The planning group, made up of carers and professionals, were recognised for their commitment to partnership working in developing the Carers Space Notts network. The project began with a conversation between Adrian Hartley (Carer) and Sarah Craggs (Co-Production Lead at NCC) to consider how to engage and involve carers in conversations about how services and processes work and don’t work in Nottinghamshire.

Through the buy in of Adult Social Care and Public Health partners, and the experience and guidance of our wonderful carers, we have built an ever-growing and evolving network for carers and professionals, improving communication channels across services.

We give a special thanks to Helen Yates and James Breeze-Stringfellow for all the hard work they put in to achieve this.
