Carers Space Session 4

Session 4: Support Available for Carers in Nottinghamshire

Thursday 9th of June 1:30 – 3PM

We were joined by six guest speakers from a variety of organisations that provide support to carers.
The speakers each spent five to ten minutes talking about what their services offer.
The speakers and other professionals in attendance answered several questions from the audience.

Eastwood Memory Cafe

Every Thursday afternoon Beeston Memory Cafe meets and every month there is a separate session for Carers whilst volunteers continue activities with our guests (i.e. those with Dementia)
The meetings for Carers include a sharing of experiences, concerns , news, dissemination of information and occasionally talks to help Carers (e.g. by Fire and Rescue, Police, Tu Vida)
