Young Carers Music Project

Our young carers music project (phase 1) got underway recently, at Hearing help in Ripley.

Our Amber Valley young carers project was kindly funded by Public Health, Amber Valley Locality Fund.

Our young carers spent 2 days with professional music teachers and musicians (phase 1) and have now written the song and music, ready for phase 2 of the project, which entails the young carers having a day in a recording studio with the Derby Rock Choir.

Phase 3 will see them be producing a music video to accompany the song and a documentary .

Phase 4 will be an evening launch event with the Rock Choir to showcase the wonderful work, where we hope to raise finds to be able to continue similar projects like this for more of our young carers across the county.

Phase 5 Will be the promotion of this project, hopefully being aired on local radio stations, local tv, publicised on “you tube”, and sold on itunes.

Phase 6 – The skies the limit!!!
