Young Carers Free Trip
We will be taking 15 carers aged between 18 and 25, away for a 3 day residential trip to Lea Green near Matlock, Derbyshire on 26th 27th and 28th November 2014.
The trip will involve lots of practical activities, and some sessions from local training providers and colleges, there will also be advice on caring for carers and help with benefits. This will be a great opportunity to get lots of help with planning for a young adult carers future, whether that involves getting back into learning, training for a new career, or sorting finances, and making sure they are looking after their health and well-being.
The trip is fully funded, and there is also a small fund to help provide support for the cared for person, whilst they would be away.
