Sun Shines on Sudbury visit!

Derbyshire Carers celebrated carers with a visit to the delightful Sudbury Hall and Museum of Childhood on 6th July. Carers had the opportunity to explore the museum with its eight galleries, discover and reminisce over the childhoods of times gone by, wander in the delightful gardens and enjoy lunch together in the Coach House Restaurant.

The day out was supported by Bill Weston of the High Peak Mayor’s Charities Committee (Buxton) and organised by Jean a kind-hearted former carer and volunteer who has been working tirelessly to raise funds for carers.

All in all the day provided much need time out from caring roles and a chance to share experiences in a relaxed setting.
