Carers relax at a special pamper day

A fun and relaxing treat was on offer on the 8th June as carers gathered at the Post Mill Centre, South Normanton for a well-earned pamper day and tea party treat organised by Derbyshire Carers Association (DCA).

Holistic and aromatherapy experts were on hand offering free sessions and carers were able to take time out and spoil themselves with a number of treatments including massage, nail treatments, facials and pedicures. Plenty of music and chat, tea and buffet for all, plus the aroma of nail polish and aromatherapy lotions made the day a great success.

To kick start Carers Week, the ‘Pamper Party’ had an excellent turnout and afterwards carers filled in feedback forms commenting on ‘fab treatments’, and ‘lovely to talk to other carers.’
