Carers Celebration and AGM - The Crooked Spire

You are cordially invited to our annual AGM and Carers Celebration Service on December 9th at the world-famous Crooked Spire, (Saint Mary & All Saints Church), Church Way, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S40 1XJ.

The meeting will be an opportunity to meet Carers from across the County, old friends and new, in an informal and relaxed setting.

It will also give you the chance to mingle with representatives from the statutory agencies who will be present.

The meeting will be in two parts: The formal part of the meeting beginning at 12 Noon will, as usual, allow us to report to you, our Carers; what the Association has achieved throughout the year.

It will also give an opportunity to update on issues which affect Carers locally and nationally. The Management Committee will resign at the meeting and a new committee will be elected. Members currently serving are eligible for re-election.

Once the business is concluded there will be a Carers Service, comprising of readings by Revd. Patrick Coleman, a choir singing carols, and poems from our Carers Writing Group at Derby. Local dignitaries, including the Mayor & Mayoress of Chesterfield, will be sharing their thoughts regarding Carers and their selfless work.

This will be followed by refreshments and mince pies and the chance to chat with fellow Carers.
