One of the young carers that our young carers team support has featured in the Derbyshire Times.

Excerpt from the article :-

Helping hand at bathtime and mealtime
When their dad Shane is at work, Alyssa helps mum to bath and feed the boys. Karena, 29, said: “I can put them in the bath but you can’t dress two children at the same time.”
Alyssa said: “I like to help mum because the boys get to bed quicker and I get more time with mum. I enjoy the fact that I am helping.”
