Collection Outside iPRO stadium on Sat 23rd August 13:00 - 15:00

Derbyshire Carers Association are doing the collection outside the iPRO stadium on Saturday 23rd August. Derby County kick off against Fulham, the first match of the season. It is predicted that there will be over 28,000 supporters on the day and we are looking for people to volunteer to shake the buckets.

This is a major opportunity for our important local charity. The work we do is vital for the 130,000 carers toiling away in Derby City and the County. As you know we intend to undertake much more community fundraising in the future. Can you or a friend or group spare a couple of hours (1-3.00pm) to help. Over 12,000 people will pass our collection points per hour. It is essential therefore we have many, many volunteers on the day. Individuals want to donate, we have to be there with our bucket when they do.

Do have a think and see if you can help – It really is FUN also. We have negotiated 20 free entry tickets ( to be selected randomly for those that want to see the match after the collection.

Please contact Debra or Lisa on 01332 200 002 if you can help.
